The adventures of Icewind, Bjorn, and Thor

greatest warriors of the Frost clan and chosen of the Ice maiden.

200 Years ago the great glacier cut off the lands of the 3 mighty clans. The Ice clan, the Frost clan and the Snow clan. In that now long forgotten time the clans had become proud and vain. They ignored the Great Ice Maiden, Auril. Her temples fell into disrepair and her worshipers abandoned her in favor of other gods and earthly pleasures. In an insane rage that only a goddess could comprehend Auril cut her chosen people off from the rest of the world with a wall of the living ice that is hersymbol.

The time trapped behind the Great Glacier was a harsh one. Soon the three clans discovered that they were not the only ones trapped behind the Wall of ice. Just as the Frost Clan and Snow Clan combined resources for survival did the first frost giant raids begin. The giants first struck the Ice clan and although they took devastating losses the Ice clan was nearly wiped out.

Some 200 years after the great wall cut off the great clans, a great crack apeared in the glacier releasing the clans from thier forced isolation. It seems the Ice maiden thought her people had learned their lesson.

The clan elders decided to send 3 of their up and coming warriors to investigate the crack in the great glacier. Those warriors were Icewind, Ranger of the Frost clan, Thor,Druid of the great icefields, and Bjorn Spiritwalker, self-proclaimed greatest conjuror in 7 generations. In a great feast of caraboo and beer the three adventures where seen off.

After a weeks journy through the great glacier itself they came upon a land of green as far as the eye could see. Open grasslands and nearby forests provided an alien landscape for the newly arrived adventurers. Within a days travel they discovered an amazing amount of wildlife. Rabbits as far as the eye could see, and strange creatures never before encountered. The hunting had never been so plentiful on the far side of the great glacier. Unfortunately such a bountiful land also held hidden dangers, for that very night they were set upon by strange little green men wielding spears and riding upon the backs of gigantic wolves. Luckily they were able to keep thier wits about them and defeated the foul little men. and took the hides of the wolves as trophies.
